Our history co-op went here last spring, and it was worth it. I recommend everyone to go. You can call ahead and arrange for a tour - I know this is available for groups, but not sure about individuals. We were a small group and came without plans for a tour, but sat in the chairs in the back of another group and caught the lecture going on - the speaker was knowledgable and it was an eye-opening lecture. I learned a lot here.

It is a good idea to prepare your chidlren before you go, and maybe read a book like Anne Frank's Diary, to open a up a discussion about WWII and the Naziies and their philosophy and what they did. There are many graphic photos on the walls of this museum and lots of information, and at least two videos that you can sit and watch. Proper decorum and care to show respect while visiting the museum is a must.
