Facility:Parkers Maple Barn
Description:The Sugar House is in full operation March and April every year. They make maple syrup the old fashioned way, with a wood fire, giving it a distinct flavor that you just don't get with an oil fire. They will show you how the Native Americans made "Zinsibukwud" (maple sugar) by placing hot rocks into the sap, right up to modern sugar making in our wood-fired evaporator. Free tours!

Parker's is a NH tradition. In the spring, the sugarhouse is open and you can take a tour. They explain the history and process of sugaring, from tapping the trees to grading and bottling. Then you can head over to the restaurant for an awesome breakfast - or lunch! There is a great gift shop to buy syrup, maple sugar candies, and country gifts.
