Facility:Constitution Convention Museum State Park
Description:The museum and exhibits transport the visitor back in time when Florida was only a territory and elected leaders met to bring the territory into statehood with the introduction of a state constitution. A self-guided tour will take you through displays and exhibits of the era of the late 1830s, referencing life in the town of St. Joseph. Railroad moguls mixed with high society in this prosperous time. It was this affluence that brought the state's first Constitution Convention to the town of St. Joseph in 1838.

Please contact the park directly and in advance to have a Ranger-guided tour of the museum.
