The Central Florida Zoo is a forgotten surprise! Plan on riding the train early so that you don't miss the last ride because you will not want to leave the exhibits before closing. Plan on a full day to see everything the zoo has to offer. It is well worth the trip. A great value for the cost!

***Ask at the admission office for the Zoo scavenger hunt. There are different age level activity sheets and make a good addition to your homeschool portfolio.

This zoo is small but nice to visit. There is not a lot of walking to do and the animals are pretty easy to see. They give a good elephant show. The best part is the water fountains. After a good walk around you can let the kids cool off by playing in the water and eating a snow cone.

Great price for a zoo. If may be small, but kids of all ages love this place.
They have many additional activities you can do for additional costs, but some are well worth it. Some Homeschool Workshops are only an additional $15 per family. Others are per person fees, but you still have a wonderful experience for the price.
Besides seeing over 400 animals (that doesn't even include the bugs/insects), you can enjoy our aerial adventure course, ZOOm Air Adventure Park or bring your flip-flops and swimsuit to cool-off in the Tropical Splash Ground.
